1885 Invoice: Samuel H Fitch to J E Grubbe.
The latter was Southwold's longest-serving Mayor who lived at South Green House (now divided into three: Greyfriars North and South and Regency House). Mr Grubbe clearly had an unimpeachable credit rating; Mr Fitch had to wait 14 months for payment for the bottle of cherry brandy!
